Holistic or Analytic marking? Which one you'd prefer the most?

Definition of Holistic Marking :

~ Is a method where a piece of writing is evaluated for its overall quality.
~  It requires the examiner to evaluate the work as a whole.
~ Teachers are also trained not to become overly concerned
with any one aspect of writing but to see it as a whole.
~ Assigns a single score to represent a weighing of the whole work.

Meanwhile, Analytic marking :

~ A method where the marking is done on separate criteria.
~ Assigns different score to different factor.
i.e teacher focuses more on the structure  of the essay,
so if there would be a lot of mistakes on the grammar,
the teacher will not straightly give low mark for the essay
since she is evaluating based on the 'structure' and not the 'grammar'.

Therefore, to me I would prefer to use the analytic scoring first, then when I have got used to the marking system, or in other words, I am more capable of doing it smoothly through several years of experience, then only I will move to the holistic marking. This is to save time when marking students' papers.
